MARTIN KAYMER FOCUSING ON A STRONG FINISH ON THE EUROPEAN TOUR

Martin Kaymer is mainly focused on making a strong finish on the European Tour this season.


The top golfer has battled a shoulder injury of recent, forcing him to skip the PGA Championship. He featured at the Made In Denmark event last week where he tied 31st.

While the race for the Thomas Bjorn 2018 Ryder Cup begins this week, Kaymer is focused on achieving more. He is set to make his debut at the D+D Real Czech Masters where he hopes to kickstart his season. In the Race to Dubai, he is on the 40th spot but he remains confident that he can get back on track.

Martin Kaymer Focused On European Tour

As far as the qualification in Ryder Cup is concerned, Martin Kaymer is not focusing it on much. He has put that thought one side and targeting to have a strong finish in the season of the European Tour.


The race to qualify for 2018 Ryder Cup of Thomas Bjorn automatically starts recently at the D+D Real Czech Masters; here Kaymer makes his debut in the tournament.

In the recent months, Kaymer has struggled with injury in the shoulder because of that he was forced to not to participate in the PGA Championship, albeit he returned to action last week with a tied-31st Made in Denmark.

Kaymer is the four-time Ryder Cup player and he has not witnessed any worldwide victory after his win of the US Open, which he got in the year 2014. Presently he stood at the ranking of 40th in the standings Race to Dubai, but Kaymer strongly believes that small tweaks in his game can help this player to bring him back on the track. Is Kim Following The Footstep Of Kaymer?

Martin Kaymer and Si Woo Kim do not have common things much, but at the Erin Hills, Kim is trying and hoping to change this.


In the year 2014 at Pinehurst, Kaymer won the U.S. Open championship at No. 2 and it happened just weeks after he claimed The Players Championship same year. Now, Kim the golfer from Korea is hoping to follow the footsteps of Kaymer. In the second round, Kim shot a 2-under 70 and at 5 under and with this he sits just two shots behind the lead of clubhouse of Paul Casey.

He said, “The good weather allowed me to play with little comfort here, not much wind was there. However, this morning, I am trying to get aggressive, but the presence of wind is making it hard to happen”.

Kaymer Short With One Shot To Lead HC

If asked one reason, why Martin Kaymer enjoys the tournament Honda Classic, then the answer will be, because in the tournament he doesn’t feel as he has to make birdies in a bunch.


At the PGA National that was taking place in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. The same was required to keep pace.

Above half of the course was better or at par. Kaymer, was playing on a sponsor exemption. The player from the behind was chipped in the 17th green for birdie. After that, from 40 feet, he closed with two-putt birdie for a 65. KAYMER CONCLUDES THE EUROPA-LIST AS THE 17TH

Martin Kaymer who had won a good 67 lap on the 18-hole course, was ahead on the decisive test on Sunday, with a total score of 212 on the 28th shared place. This was despite having fallen way back the day before that.


The 31-year old was occupying the 14th place just before the final event and was hoping to make it into the top ten of the overall rating. HE had taken over the lead from Frenchman Victor Dubuisson before the final round.

The two time Major winner however finished the season finale of the European Tour on 17th place in Dubai with 279 hits on the split, thus falling back in the overall rating.

Nedbank Golf Challenge Will Have Kaymer

Martin Kaymer will participate in the Nedbank Golf Challenge and he is expecting to win this championship once again.


The championship is hosted by Gary Player. This is the final tournament of the European Tour, and it will be participated by world leading golf players.

72 players from all corners of the world will participate in this event and will contest for the prize of 7 Million dollars. Participation of Kaymar and Harrington has been confirmed in the tournament and more names are coming up.

Expressing his views on playing Nedbank Golf Challenge, Kaymer said “It is really a great experience to participate in championship that you have won once. This tournament is also going to be fun and off-course I am here to win this championship once again.”
